Christina Wren was in a quirky hummus commercial that got some national attention as part of Kraft’s campaign to revitalize the Athenos brand. Zack Snyder saw the commercial in Los Angeles and had her audition via tape from her home in New York City for several roles in his new rendition of Superman, “Man of Steel,” ultimately casting her as the military officer, “Captain Carrie Farris.” Christina then spent three weeks on the set of Man of Steel, alongside of Harry Lennix, Richard Schiff, Christopher Meloni, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. Man of Steel will be released on June 14, 2013.
